ATTENDANCE

Students are committed until the end of the academic term, and all scheduled lessons must be completed by the end of each term as outlined upon registration.

Students are expected to arrive promptly for and depart immediately after all scheduled appointments for which they are registered. If you arrive late for any session, the appointment will finish at the originally scheduled completion time.

Our teachers are highly respected professionals who make their living through scheduled appointments at Arts Integra. Their time is valuable and must be paid for. Notification of a lesson cancellation by the student is a courtesy but does not excuse payment for the contracted lessons. Illness, intense study during exam week, and occasional school trips are valid reasons for absence, however, Arts Integra must be informed if you are unable to attend a class. You must provide at least forty-eight (48) hours notice to Arts Integra in writing via email in order to document and verify the date and times of notice being given if you wish to reschedule an appointment, or you will be charged for that private lesson or class.

Missed group classes will not be made up. Rescheduled lessons must be made up within the month that they are missed or you will forfeit that makeup lesson. If a student intends to observe religious holidays resulting in missed lessons, Arts Integra must be informed upon registration and mutually agreed upon alternative lesson times should be scheduled. Arts Integra will not refund any unused or used lessons, classes, fees and/ or related expenses purchased at the point of sale, unless cancelled within 5 days from the Registration Date and accompanied with a dated letter of cancellation.

Students will be notified by email should there be a cancellation due to inclement weather. Should you have a question about attendance due to the weather, please be sure to phone the office at (905) 471-3001.
