7 through 17 years
This class is designed as a supplement to private lessons where concepts learned there can be reinforced in a relaxed and encouraging ensemble atmosphere. Students will examine the structure and history of pieces studied in their private lessons in order to develop musicianship and listening skills, and enrich their appreciation of Music. Taking each piece and making it more personal and accessible will only enhance your child’s desire to produce, practice and perform the works studied in their private lessons.

PRESCHOOL AND EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC AND MOVEMENT PROGRAMS
provide a stimulating, fun, safe and encouraging place to learn and discover Music while introducing your child to socializing with others.

All children are inherently musical, and we seek to provide a rich assortment of musical activities designed to nurture your child's cognitive, emotional, social, language and physical development, symbolic thinking and coordination. Our programs open the doors for your child’s enjoyment of music through movement, singing, listening and playing while developing pathways to an ease in future abilities in communication, memory, mathematics, reading and literacy. Children love to participate, learn new things, & experiment with their imaginations.

The Arts Integra programs are unique because they are child-centered, and foster the desire for learning, experimentation and freedom where caregivers participate with children on a one-to-one basis, and share in their enjoyment and experiences.

The Arts Integra Preschool Music and Movement Programs are also a wonderful complement to private lessons and ensemble work for children.

TODDLER TIME

18 months – 3 years accompanied by caregiver
This class focuses on your child’s healthy emotional development as confidence, curiosity, self-control and communication begin to take shape.

The basic elements of music are taught through active play and musical games. Instrument exploration, singing, sound imitation, rhyming, object identification and creative dancing are used to nurture self-esteem, develop language skills, and facilitate the discovery of textures and sounds while encouraging movement in toddlers.
Toddler Time encourages self-directed play and the experimentation introduced in pre-school while enhancing social skills through turn-taking activities. The last 15 minutes of each class are dedicated to free play and social interaction between other Caregivers and children in the class.

GROWING UP MUSICALLY

This class is designed to encourage and nurture each child's creative potential and stimulate peer interaction and creativity.

Activities include singing, listening, and the use of rhythm instruments and movement to encourage body awareness and expression through walking, galloping, jumping, marching, stamping, hopping, sliding and twirling.
Children learn to imitate and differentiate between a variety of contrasting vocal sounds and dynamic levels. Nursery rhymes and folk songs are used to create simple movement dramas. The last 15 minutes are dedicated to a supportive atmosphere of free play and social interaction between other Caregivers and children in the class.
