NELLY FARGEON is a passionate educator with an enthusiasm for Music, Drama and the French language. Born and raised in Paris and Canada, Nelly graduated from the University of Windsor in June 2008 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Drama and a Minor in Music.
Nelly has a wide range of experience in music and dramatic arts ranging from “centre stage” to behind the scenes. She has worked as a light and sound technician, scene artist, and honed her teaching skills through several University teaching assistantships at Windsor University in Canada.
Nelly has been instrumental in providing an outlet for enthusiasts to develop and express their artistic talents as co-founder, advisor and President of the Arts In Residence Council (ARC) from 2004 to 2008.
Her leadership skills are also evident in her previous roles as Manager and Director of the Ontario Residence Hall Association (ORHA) and Team Leader and Mentor of Students Orienting Students (SOS). Nelly has also served as Event Staff, Game Day Manager, and Event Staff Co-ordinator of the Lancer Athletic Department of the University of Windsor.
In addition to her outstanding talents in Music and Drama talents, Nelly is an award winning certified Berlitz French Language Instructor in the Corporate sector who has brought her passion, experience and enthusiasm to teaching French to students of all ages here in the Academic Learning & Tutoring division of Arts Integra.
Nelly has great passion and commitment, and inspires in her students an appreciation for the Arts. She is dedicated to developing the potential in her students, and helping them to become expressive and effective leaders and participants in the wonderful world of the Arts.
