Participants will learn of the benefits of breathing and relaxation work, yoga and meditation, examining the anatomy of the physical and energetic body as it relates to singing.
Discover how yoga can help to free your body and focus your mind and how singing can help to open your energetic channels.
In these two sessions, participants experience a specially designed sequence of poses developed to ground singers, link the breath, to open energetic channels, and to allow the voice to resonate more freely.
Detailed anatomical instruction about alignment and breathing
will be given, and the connection between breath, body, and voice will be emphasized in order to help participants move and sing with more ease.
Singers will also have the opportunity to experience group
vocalization and experiment with using the techniques of yoga,
learning to incorporate it in the daily singing practice regime to be more present in each moment of performance.
